The Council of the Birmingham Shambhala Center has begun the process of addressing the question of what to do when our current lease on the property at 714 37th Street South is up for renewal in October 2008.  Two primary goals of the Council are to include the whole community (sangha) of the Center in decision making and to be completely open and transparent in the proceedings. 

One method of being open is use of this section of the website for posting information for everyone to read.  There will also be a “question and answer” page: if you have a question about the current space or the process of considering future options, please send them to Marion Buckley at mfbuckley@bellsouth.net.  Important or frequently asked questions along with answers will be posted.
